01Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, kuzub.co.uk, including people who navigate with a keyboard, magnify the screen, use a screen reader or are sensitive to motion. This statement explains the standard we work to, what our checks cover, what we know falls short and how to get help.

02The standard we work to

We design and build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

For the contrast of text we go further. Our automated tests hold text to the Level AAA contrast ratio of at least 7 to 1 against its background (4.5 to 1 for large text), wherever automated tools can measure it. The exceptions are text in the Caldaia Studio and YUBIM brand colours, which is held to the Level AA ratio (4.5 to 1, or 3 to 1 for large text), and the buttons described under Known limitations.

03What our checks cover

We have not carried out a full evaluation of this website against every WCAG 2.2 success criterion, so we do not claim that it conforms to WCAG 2.2.

Our automated tests run the axe-core rules for WCAG 2.0 at Levels A, AA and AAA on every public page, at phone and desktop sizes. Apart from two exceptions built into the tests - text in the Caldaia Studio and YUBIM brand colours is held to Level AA rather than AAA, and the buttons described under Known limitations are left out of the tests - they found no failures. The contrast of those buttons is measured separately. The tests also check keyboard focus in the cookie settings and in the contact form, and that the site follows a reduced-motion setting.

We build the site to work with a keyboard alone. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site follows that setting.

04Known limitations

Some buttons that lead to Caldaia Studio and YUBIM are filled with the product's bright brand colour and carry white text. Their contrast ratios are 3.05 to 1 on the Caldaia Studio buttons and 3.68 to 1 on the YUBIM buttons, below the 4.5 to 1 that WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3, Contrast (Minimum), requires for text of their size. Our automated tests exclude these buttons.

The contact form and the talent-network form do not show which fields are required before you send them. In the contact form, every field except Company is required. In the talent-network form, your name, your email address, the area of work and the consent box are required, and the link and the message are optional. In the contact form, if a required field is empty when you send it, the form names the field and moves you to it. In the talent-network form, your browser moves you to the first empty required field and shows its own message.

05How we test

Our automated accessibility tests run on every public page, using the axe-core testing engine. Our main pages are also measured with Google Lighthouse.

Automated tools find only some accessibility problems. The site has not been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and it has not been tested with people who use screen readers or other assistive technologies.

If any part of this site is hard for you to use, or you need its content in a different format, write to hello@kuzub.co.uk and tell us what would help. We reply within two working days, and within 10 working days we tell you how we will resolve the problem. A working day is Monday to Friday, except public holidays in Scotland.
